The ZOOM L105 was designed around a single constraint: nothing unnecessary. No clip protrusions interrupting the line, no plastic sections breaking up the form. The brass barrel handles both the structural and functional roles simultaneously, its density providing the weight that steadies the hand during writing without requiring extra mass elsewhere.

The tapered tip section runs approximately 30mm, transitioning the 10.3mm barrel down to the pen tip in a smooth, continuous taper. The twist-retract mechanism keeps the silhouette clean by eliminating the side button entirely. Multi-layer coating followed by a finish coat produces the soft, slightly matte color expression across the nine color options, three of which (White, Light Blue, Lime Green) were added to the lineup in November 2017.
