Behind the Design

The "We Love ICE" series from BGM centers on a single visual idea: the cross-section of an ice cream bar. Rather than illustrating the outside of an ice cream, each design reveals the interior layers and inclusions of a different flavor, from the green swirl of Matcha Marble to the cookie chunks in Cookies and Cream.

Foil stamping is applied over the printed washi surface, adding a reflective layer that catches light without overwhelming the illustration. At 15mm wide, each strip is narrow enough to use as a border or accent, but wide enough to show the full cross-section detail. The tape is repositionable and tears cleanly by hand, as standard washi tape does.

Washi masking tape printed with cross-section views of ice cream flavors, each roll finished with foil stamping for a subtle shimmer. Six flavors in the set, from Chocolate Mint to Matcha Marble. Use each strip as a label, a border, or the base of a collaged ice cream scoop.
