Behind the Design

The Tokimeki Flavor series was designed around the visual language of cafes, fruit stands, and sweets shops. Each of the six designs pulls from a specific flavor identity: the fresh color palette of apple and lemon, the earthy tones of matcha and coffee, and the soft warmth of milk and chocolate.

Foil stamping is the technical detail that sets this tape apart from standard printed washi. A metallic foil is heat-transferred onto the tape surface, adding a subtle shimmer to highlights and linework that flat offset printing cannot replicate. At 15mm wide, the tape fits naturally on journal spreads, card edges, and scrapbook borders without overwhelming the page.
