MIDORI's system notebook refills are designed to slot directly into their mini B7 six-ring binders, letting users swap dated inserts each year without replacing the cover. The 2027 edition takes that modularity a step further by tying the calendar function to illustration: the full-color artwork printed on each month's spread changes throughout the year, so the refill itself evolves as you use it.

Two layout formats address different planning habits. Monthly Block gives a clean grid overview of each month. Monthly Block + Weekly pairs a weekly time column on one side with a blank memo page on the facing side, giving space for notes alongside the schedule without needing a separate insert.

Three designs cover distinct visual moods. Country Time Floral features loose watercolor botanicals commissioned from illustrator Takiko Kuroiwa. Cat Pattern runs a rotating cast of illustrated cats across the months. Ojisan Pattern takes a more humorous turn, following a middle-aged man and his dogs through seasonal scenarios. The illustrated theme prints throughout all dated pages, not just the cover.
