Behind the Design

OLFA's black blades are ground at a sharper angle than their standard silver counterparts. The steeper grind geometry concentrates the cutting force along a narrower edge, which reduces the width of the visible cut mark left on surfaces. This matters for interior finishing work, where the blade often contacts materials like wallpaper or delicate film where edge clarity is visible in the final result.

The long-format blade gives 21 usable snap-off segments per unit compared to the 13 of a standard blade, and the 0.3mm thickness keeps the blade light and easy to guide through cuts. At 50 blades per plastic storage case, the BBL50K is sized for professional volume use.

Replacement blades for OLFA long-type interior cutter knives, ground at an extra-acute angle for cleaner cuts with less visible marking. Each blade is 0.3mm thin and scored for 21 snap-off segments, so a 50-blade pack goes a long way.
