The Seasonal Living Calendar grew out of the Koyomi Seikatsu project, which centers on reconnecting everyday life with the traditional Japanese almanac. Where most modern calendars strip dates down to numbers and weekdays, this one layers in the old systems: rokuyo (the six-day cycle used for auspicious timing), the lunar calendar, moon phases, and ichiryuman baichi.

The back of each monthly sheet extends that idea into lived experience. Rather than blank space, it carries seasonal columns, lifestyle memos, and recipes tied to that month's character. The result is a calendar that functions as a small guide to the year as much as a date-tracking tool. The design reflects each season visually, so the object itself changes feeling as the months turn.
