The Riana Tiara Al-Lock was designed around a specific frustration: pencil case lids that pop open inside school bags, scattering pencils and erasers at the worst moments. Sonic's answer is a double-sided lock mechanism that secures both ends of the lid simultaneously, so the case stays shut regardless of orientation or how packed the bag gets.

The body is sized to slip into the front pocket of a standard Japanese elementary school bag, even when loaded to its 29mm depth. Despite the slim profile, the interior pen holder fits six pencils, keeping the contents aligned rather than jumbled. The removable pencil sharpener clips inside without eating into pencil space.

The exterior draws from the Riana Tiara series, which uses a classical embroidery-style motif aimed at school-age children who want something that reads a bit more grown-up than a typical kids' case.
