Behind the Design

OLFA's Extra Large H-type blade is built for jobs where the standard large blade reaches its limit. The 0.7mm thickness reduces flex under load, so the blade tracks straight through thick cardboard, rubber, leather, and similar dense materials without deflecting or chattering.

Two blade variants serve different priorities. The white blade is the all-purpose choice, balancing edge life with consistent cutting across a range of materials. The black blade uses an ultra-acute grinding angle for maximum initial sharpness, trading some longevity for a noticeably cleaner first cut. Both are ground from alloy tool steel and packaged in a rigid plastic case that keeps unused blades secure and contained.

Standard replacement blades for OLFA's Extra Large H-type cutters, available in white (all-purpose) and black (ultra-sharp, acutely angled) versions. At 0.7mm thick with minimal warping, these blades handle dense, heavy materials that standard large blades cannot get through.
