The PRD series has been in continuous production for over 30 years, shaped around the needs of people who manage schedules on paper but don't want to carry a full-size planner. The A5 slim format sits between a standard A5 and a pocket notebook in footprint, narrow enough to hold one-handed while writing.

The monthly block layout gives a full month on a single opening, with a To Do list and a ruled memo spread inserted after each month rather than at the back, so notes stay close to the period they belong to. The ruled memo page can be split into two vertical columns by drawing a single line, a simple but deliberate structural choice that turns one page into two working areas without any pre-printed grid.

Thread-sewn binding keeps the diary lying flat at any page without a clip or second hand to hold it open. The appendix sheets, designed to be photocopied to A4, are a small carry-over from an era when diary-to-meeting-room workflows were common, and they remain genuinely useful for anyone who tracks projects across weeks.
