Snapping a cutter blade is one of those small tasks that carries a disproportionate amount of anxiety. The conventional method, bending the blade against a hard surface or with a clip, puts the broken segment in open air with nowhere to go. OLFA designed the Poki Station to remove that uncertainty entirely.

The lever mechanism means you apply controlled downward force rather than a sudden snap, and the blade fractures inside an enclosed chamber. The transparent front wall was added specifically so you can see that the blade tip is properly seated before you press, and confirm the break afterwards. Nothing is left to guess.

The stand is not just a holder. Its rear face has slots for storing cutter knives and replacement blade packs, so the whole blade-changing process, from reaching for a spare to disposing of the old segment, can happen in one place. Detaching the snapper unit from the stand takes it to wherever the work is, rather than requiring the work to come to the desk.
