The POCHI-PON was born from a simple but delightful idea: what if giving money could feel more like a moment? The cylindrical form solves a practical problem too, bills roll in without folding, arriving crisp and flat on the other end.

TAISEI has collaborated with a range of illustrators and artists to create the designs, from traditional auspicious motifs like Shochikubai (pine, bamboo, and plum) to contemporary illustrators including Tani Konatsu, Sakamoto Daisaburo, WARMGREY TAIL, and Maeda Mugi, giving the same clever format a wide visual range for different occasions and recipients.
