The Plus Stand Diary came from a simple question: what if a portable planner could also function as a desk calendar without any extra hardware? MIDORI's answer was a cover notch and rubber band system that takes under a second to deploy. Open the book, slip the band into the notch, and the diary stands at a readable angle on the desk.

The reverse side of each monthly spread doubles as a project page, so the same physical space serves two distinct planning modes depending on which way you orient the book. Free memo pages and a goals-and-to-dos appendix are included at the back, covering the unscheduled thinking that doesn't fit neatly into calendar blocks.

When closed, the rubber band that props it up also secures it for travel, so the same single component handles both functions. The B6 variant size sits between a standard pocket notebook and an A5, wide enough for monthly blocks to breathe but narrow enough to fit in a jacket pocket or bag side pocket.
