Originally published in Japan in the 1930s by artist and designer Wada Sanzo, A Dictionary of Color Combinations is a beloved collection of hand-picked color pairings that has found a new generation of fans among designers, artists, and stationery lovers around the world. Reissued in two volumes, each page presents a carefully balanced palette that still feels fresh nearly a century later.
The colors of every item in this set were chosen from Palette 160 in A Dictionary of Color Combinations Vol. 1. Deep Dark Medici Blue and warm Pale Raw Umber are brightened by a soft glow of Sulphine Yellow, creating a grounded, earthy kit for stamping, habit tracking, and building your own pages from scratch. It's a thoughtful way to bring a page of Wada Sanzo's palette off the paper and onto your desk.
