The Origami Box series from Furukawashiko is built around a simple idea: origami paper that comes in a box worth keeping. The sheets are made from Mino Washi, a traditional Japanese paper with roots in Gifu Prefecture that dates back over 1,300 years. Its fibrous texture gives it a slightly soft hand feel compared to machine-made paper, and that quality carries through into finished folds.

The 70mm format is compact enough to fold into small boxes, envelopes, and decorative shapes, but also useful as memo slips or collage material. The animal designs in this release follow the series' established format of pairing two colorways per theme, so each design number represents a distinct pattern within the same character family. The collectible box keeps the sheets flat and protected, and is sized to sit neatly in a drawer or on a desk.
