Behind the Design

Omoclip was designed around a simple frustration: books that won't stay open. Textbooks, cookbooks, and sheet music all tend to snap shut the moment you let go, forcing you to use a hand, a mug, or some improvised weight to hold your place.

Sonic's answer was to build the weight directly into the clip itself. At approximately 100g, the clip is heavy enough to keep thick books flat without any external help. The clear ABS body means it doesn't obscure the text underneath, so there's no need to remove it mid-read. The wide jaw accommodates spines up to 4.5 cm thick, and the 2-way clip position lets you attach it to the side or top depending on how you're using the book. When clipped to the side, pages still turn with a slight opening, so the clip doesn't have to come off every time you move forward.

A weighted clip that holds books open hands-free, so you can read, cook, or play music without pinning down pages. The clear ABS body lets text show through even while clipped, and the 2-way design fits on either the spine edge or the top of the book.
