The Ojisan calendar is built around a recurring character: a middle-aged man who spends his days in unhurried contentment alongside his dogs. Each month brings a new illustrated vignette, so the calendar functions less like a static grid and more like a slow serialized story playing out on the wall across the year.

MIDORI designed the date area to be large enough for real household scheduling, so the whimsical illustration above never crowds the working space below. A subtle touch carries through every sheet: Ojisan's figure appears again along the ruled lines of the date grid itself, small and in motion, as if wandering through the weeks. It is the kind of detail you notice mid-month and smile at.
