Kaya is a Japanese-style brand built around the idea of encountering Japan in a new way. Their design approach draws on the concept of "Civilization and Enlightenment" to reinterpret classic Japanese visual culture through a modern, color-forward lens.

This 2027 wall calendar brings that approach to everyday life. Each month features a different Japanese event or talisman motif, daruma dolls, Mt. Fuji, and seasonal charms rendered in a palette rooted in traditional Japanese color names. The paper itself carries the story: made from bamboo and cotton fibers by hand, it has a warm, slightly uneven texture that machine-printed calendars cannot replicate.
