This pouch is a collaboration between KOKUYO ME and commpost, a project by the Japanese fashion brand Urban Research that focuses on reducing textile waste. The outer material is made from Urban Research's own deadstock fabric and clothing collected through their in-store recycling programs, processed into a new composite material alongside polyethylene, ethylene propylene rubber, and polypropylene.

Because the source textiles vary by batch and by garment, no two pouches will look exactly alike. Tone, texture, and surface character shift from piece to piece, which is a direct result of the material's origin rather than a manufacturing inconsistency. The pouch is sized to hold everyday carry items like a field notebook, a couple of pens, and a pair of earphones, keeping the form focused and the footprint small.
