Behind the Design

The ML Series has been part of Nichiban's lineup since 1981, aimed at the practical needs of office filing and ledger indexing. The labels use woodfree paper and a release liner that omits the laminate layer typically found on sticker backing, making it compatible with paper recycling streams without any need to separate materials first.

The range covers a wide span of sizes, from narrow 8mm×20mm tabs for tight page edges to larger 34mm×79mm labels suited for folder spines and dividers. Each size targets a specific filing context rather than trying to serve all purposes with one format.

Self-adhesive index labels designed for ledger books, binders, and document filing. The release paper skips the laminate coating, making it recyclable without separation.
