I've bought these for a while now, and have been slowly making my way through revamping my workspace/stationary stuff. I hadn't bought from Midori brand, so I didn't really know what I was getting myself into, but I don't regret it now. In fact, I bought more lol.
The paper is perfect for my gel ink or lead pencils. I didn't expect them to be a little thicker, but they don't tear whether I use my 0.4 mechanical lead pencil or my newly sharpened pencils. Even my pens, also 0.4, just glide through the pages. I get to customize them, so I have full creative control. I got the protection cover, so I also turned one to my everyday journal.
If you're also looking for grid journals in the A5 size/travel friendly, this one is one of the best out there. It also came by really fast. The packaging was really nice and well taken care of. When I got it, I was like opening a present, and I got so excited to write again.
I'm really particular about my stationary, but if you're thinking of purchasing one of these, go do it!
