Behind the Design

BGM's Life series was designed around the idea that decorative tape doesn't have to be precious. The designs, Ice, Relaxed Drinks, and Flower Line, are drawn from quiet, everyday moments rather than seasonal or themed collections, which keeps them useful across more situations and longer into the year.

The foil stamping adds a reflective quality to the washi base without overwhelming the illustration. Washi's natural texture diffuses the foil slightly, giving it a softer look than foil on coated paper. Released in July 2024, these three designs represent the core of the Life lineup.

BGM's Life series masking tapes combine everyday-friendly designs with foil stamping on washi paper. The result is a tape that feels decorative without being fussy, at home on journals, envelopes, or packaging alike.
