Behind the Design

BGM's Life series tapes are built around the small decorative details that go into planners, journals, and handmade cards. At 5mm wide, these rolls are narrower than standard washi tape, sized specifically for ruled-line dividers, index tabs, and card borders where a full-width tape would overwhelm the page.

The foil stamping process presses metallic film directly into the washi surface, producing a reflective finish that holds detail well on a paper substrate. Each of the three designs in this set, Gold Numbers, Design Book (Zuan-cho), and Ribbon Index, carries a distinct graphic character while sharing the same slim format and foil treatment.
