Most standard cutters are single-handed tools, which caps the force you can apply. The LL Type rethinks that by making the grip wide and long enough to use both hands at once, routing more of your body strength directly into the blade.

The screw-lock mechanism goes further than a standard snap-lock: it clamps the blade all the way to the tip, eliminating flex during heavy cuts. This matters when you are working through thin plywood, thick rubber sheets, or the hardened bead of a caulk or sealant joint, materials where a wobbling blade either skips or snaps.

Holding the body vertically also lets you reach cuts overhead or in tight corners where a horizontal grip cannot reach. The two spare blades stored in the back case mean you can swap without stopping to find a packet, keeping the workflow uninterrupted.
