OLFA's Limited Series sits apart from the standard catalog as a design-forward line that refines form alongside function. The Ltd-07 Limited NL takes the familiar large snap-off cutter format and rebuilds its proportions around force application: the body is shaped so that downward pressure translates directly to the blade, and the rubber strip on the back prevents the hand from slipping mid-cut.

The black blade included at purchase is not a standard OEM blade. OLFA's special black blade is ground to a sharper angle than their regular blades, and a two-stage grinding process is applied to compensate for the fragility that typically accompanies acute-angle edges. The result is a blade that starts sharper and holds up longer before chipping. The screw-lock mechanism clamps the blade along its full length rather than at a single point, keeping the tip from flexing under lateral force.
