The Air Pita was designed around a single practical frustration: pen cases that slide off desks or topple when you reach inside. Kutsuwa's solution was to mold the base from silicone and integrate an air suction mechanism, so placing the case flat on a desk creates enough grip to hold it upright under normal use.

The gamaguchi frame, borrowed from traditional Japanese coin purse hardware, opens the mouth wide so you can see and grab contents without digging. The same rigid frame structure that keeps the mouth open also props a smartphone in portrait or landscape orientation when slipped into the stand groove at the back.

This limited-edition run replaces the standard opaque silicone shell with a sheer, tulle-like translucent finish in four soft colors. The silicone compound remains the same, but the reduced pigmentation gives the case a lighter, more textile-like appearance while keeping the air-grip base fully functional.
