Behind the Design

The Kyururun series takes its name from a Japanese expression evoking something round, soft, and irresistibly cute. Each sticker is printed on PVC with a dome-like surface that catches light and creates a subtle 3D effect without any added resin or gel coating.

Three of the six designs in this release add foil stamping to the mix, layering a metallic shimmer onto cafe-themed illustrations of stained glass windows, brulee textures, and shell motifs. The remaining three lean into softer themes: a collection of fluffy illustrated animals, a flower-forward "Merci" arrangement, and a set of illustrated sea creatures. All six sheets measure 93 x 174 mm, sitting slightly larger than a standard sticker sheet for more presence on journals, planners, and packaging.

Kyururun stickers have a glossy, rounded surface that gives each design a satisfying bubble-like depth. Volume 1 includes five designs span cafe sweets, fluffy animals, flowers, and sea creatures, with two foil-stamped variants adding a shimmery finish that photographs especially well.
