How can any mechanical pencil top this one. Only one I know and have two of has a ghost of a chance. The Rotring 800. It is the only one that could possibility of getting into the ring. I am thoroughly impressed with this mechanism that turns this lead as you write. It just has me Ga Ga. Not an easy task when you consider I have wore out more mechanical pencils than most writers who use them. This one has this lead turning mechanism that is sheer brilliance. There isn’t another mechanical pencil made that I have used that even comes close to this one. Perfection has a name and it is the Kuru Toga Metal 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil. It absolutely satisfies with true ease and grace. Wouldn’t trade it for any other. You can take that to the bank!
One of the best mechanical pencil I have owned. The metal body of the pen has a nice feel in the hands and the writing experience is super smooth. Would highly recommend it.
What a beautiful pencil. I love the two modes - self sharpening or manual. I don’t know why I enjoy pencil use as much as I do - but this is well worth the price.
