Most portable scissors share the same problem: a cap that gets lost, falls off in a bag, or just slows you down. The KOKUYO ME Portable Scissors drops the cap entirely in favor of a slide mechanism. A light press extends the blade; sliding it back retracts it fully into the body. The blade never exposes itself accidentally, and there's nothing separate to keep track of.

The blade itself carries two specific technologies. Titanium coating extends sharpness compared to uncoated stainless, while the 3D Glueless Structure reduces the surface area of the blade that contacts what you're cutting. When the target is tape or stickers, less contact means adhesive residue has fewer places to collect. The Hybrid Arch Blade geometry handles the actual cutting action.

The body cross-section is deliberately soft and rounded, described internally as marshmallow-like, which distributes grip pressure across the palm rather than concentrating it at one edge. At 110mm long and 18mm wide, it sits inside a standard pencil case alongside pens without adding bulk.
