The KOKUYO ME Portable Scissors were designed around one frustration: caps. Conventional portable scissors use a cap to cover the blade, which means one more small piece to drop, misplace, or leave on the desk. KOKUYO's solution is a slide mechanism built into the body itself. A light press and push extends the blade; reverse to retract. The cap is eliminated entirely.

The blade gets two additional treatments. Titanium coating extends edge life beyond a standard stainless blade. And KOKUYO's 3D Glue-less Structure reduces the contact area between the two blade faces, which matters most when cutting adhesive tape: less contact means less surface for adhesive to transfer onto, so the blade stays clean longer.

The form follows a soft, rounded profile KOKUYO calls marshmallow-like, sized to sit alongside pens in a pencil case. The PIMAN colorway is a muted, slightly cool green with a pink variant as an alternative.
