Behind the Design

The Kissaten Alamode series from BGM draws on the visual language of Japanese café culture, coffee cups, parfaits, and pastries rendered with a warm, vintage sensibility. This Magic edition introduces a new layer: spellbook motifs, celestial symbols, and wizard hats woven into those same familiar café illustrations.

The result is a kind of whimsical contradiction, the ordinary comfort of a coffee shop reframed through a fantastical lens. Four colorways anchor each pack to an elemental mood: Honoo (Flame) runs warm and fiery, Hikari (Light) feels bright and airy, Koori (Ice) leans cool and crystalline, and Yami (Darkness) goes deep and moody. The foil stamping catches light across the intricate linework, adding dimension that flat printing can't replicate.

BGM's beloved Kissaten Alamode series gets a magical twist, layering stars, moons, and wizard hats onto classic café menu illustrations with detailed foil stamping. Each pack includes 45 sheets across 15 designs, and four elemental colorways are available: Flame, Light, Ice, and Darkness.
