The Kei Coat Charger exists because refilling a highlighter has traditionally been messy or fiddly. Tombow's solution is a dip-style system: set the Kei Coat pen tip-down into the charger bottle and the ink transfers passively. No syringes, no cartridge swaps, no ink on your fingers.

The container is shaped with a wide, stable base and an enclosed well, so if it gets knocked over on a desk mid-refill, the ink doesn't pool out. Each bottle holds enough ink for around 10 complete recharges, making it a low-cost way to keep a Kei Coat running rather than replacing the whole pen.
