Jishoru is a dictionary-style notebook designed to collect meaningful words at your own pace. Entries are organized in Japanese kana order (aiueo), allowing you to look up words like a dictionary and gradually build a personal volume of treasured language.
The concept was developed through an industry–academia collaboration and carefully refined to reflect students’ ideas and the craftsmanship of printing professionals.
Key Features
- Dictionary-Style Format: Organized in Japanese kana order, making words easy to find and revisit.
- Thoughtful Paper Selection: The cover uses NT Rasha fine paper with a soft texture; the inner pages use Kinmari SW paper for smooth writing and clear ink.
- Pen-Friendly Pages: Thick 70kg paper reduces show-through and supports fountain pens, glass pens, and dip pens.
- Hollow-Back Binding: Flexible and durable binding that opens flat for comfortable writing.
- Color Variations: Available in six color options to suit personal preference.
- Collaborative Design: Created by university students and printing professionals as part of an industry–academia project.
