Behind the Design

Jibun Techo is designed as a precise self-management tool, and this undersheet extends that precision to the act of writing itself. Yupo is a synthetic paper made from polypropylene rather than wood pulp, which gives it a consistent surface hardness and a slight resistance that pen tips respond to differently than regular paper.

The sheet slips between pages to act as a writing base, preventing the pressure of your pen from embossing the page below. The ruler scale along the edge handles quick measurements without reaching for a separate tool, and the TODAY tab sticks out beyond the page edge so you can flip to your current spread without rifling through the book. It is a small sheet designed to solve several small frictions at once.
