Jibun Techo (literally "my own planner") was originally developed by advertising creator Sakuma as a personal system for capturing everything in one place. The Biz edition branched from that concept with a specific constraint: it had to work in a professional environment without drawing attention to itself.

Where the standard Jibun Techo leans into color-coding and expressive design, the Biz strips things back to neutral covers, restrained typography, and a palette that reads as background rather than statement. The core architecture stays intact: a monthly block view for the big picture and a weekly vertical layout for hour-by-hour scheduling, with coverage extending several months before and after the calendar year so transitions between years don't break mid-project.

The A5 Slim format sits between a pocket notebook and a full A5, wide enough for detailed entries but narrow enough to slide alongside documents in a bag or briefcase.
