HONTOWATASHI (ほんとわたし) is Furukawashiko's series aimed at people who love books and the small rituals around reading. The name is a gentle Japanese pun: "honto" means both "book" (本) and "really/truly" (本当), so the series name reads as both "Books and Me" and "Really, Me" at once.

This bookmark was designed around a simple observation: most bookmarks are too narrow or too tall, so they either slip out or poke above the cover. By sizing it close to a paperback page, it stays put and keeps its place without bending. The PET material was chosen so the design printed on the bookmark doesn't compete with the text underneath. You can leave it on a page mid-chapter and still read through it.

The twelve designs range from food-themed (Cream Soda, Coffee and Bread, Retro Pudding) to botanical (Lavender, Rosemary, Tulip, Mimosa) to illustrative scenes featuring cats, dogs, birds, and stationery. Each is printed with Furukawashiko's characteristic soft, nostalgic palette.
