Behind the Design

This notebook is part of a collaboration between Furukawashiko and artist Aya Inoue, known for her intricate, fine-line illustrations of sweets and confections. The covers are finished with foil stamping, which adds a metallic shimmer to the illustrated details without overwhelming the delicacy of the line work.

The grid ruling inside at 5mm is a standard that works across many uses: light planning, journaling, sketching small layouts, or tracking household records. The B6 format sits between A6 and A5, compact enough to carry easily but with enough page area to write comfortably. The ring binding allows the notebook to lie flat when open.
