Behind the Design

The Diorama 2.5D Sticker series is built around a single idea: miniature stickers that, when layered in the right order onto a hexagonal backing, resolve into a tiny three-dimensional scene. The "2.5D" in the name describes that middle ground between a flat sticker sheet and a proper diorama box.

Vol.2 takes the concept further by loosening the rules. Where the first volume had a more fixed composition, Vol.2 gives you more room to arrange elements as you like, so two people working from the same sheet can end up with noticeably different results. The four designs in this volume, Library, Flower Shop, Bakery, and Fantasy World, each offer a distinct set of miniature elements to work with. BGM recommends using sticker tweezers for precise placement, especially for the smaller foreground pieces.

Each package includes two sheets of miniature stickers designed to be layered onto a hexagonal backing, building up a tiny diorama scene in 2.5D. Following the completion diagram, you work out the stacking order yourself, which is part of the challenge. Vol.2 opens up more collage freedom than the first set, so the result feels more like your own.
