Behind the Design

The 125B Craft Saw sits in OLFA's range of precision cutting tools, applying the same replaceable-blade philosophy that made the company famous for box cutters to a fine-tooth saw format.

The blade uses SK-95 carbon tool steel, a high-carbon alloy known for edge retention, ground to fine teeth that minimize tear-out on plastics and thin wood. When the blade dulls, a simple three-step process, loosening the screw, seating the new blade, and tapping the spine, returns it to full sharpness without replacing the entire tool.

The ABS resin holder is proportioned for a firm grip during controlled cuts, keeping the saw useful for detail work on DIY projects where a full-size handsaw would be too coarse.
