Behind the Design

BGM's Life series of clear tapes uses a transparent PET film as the base, which means the printed illustration sits on top without fully obscuring what's underneath. At 5mm wide, the tape is narrow enough to run along the edge of a note or decorate a journal spread without overwhelming the page.

The three designs in this set draw from everyday subjects: the warm orange of a mikan tangerine, a loose arrangement of paint tubes and brushes, and a loose scatter of color blocks. Each pattern repeats across the length of the roll, so the effect builds as you layer strips or run the tape across a longer surface.
