Behind the Design

"Okashi na Doubutsu Kobo" translates loosely as "Strange Animal Workshop," and the series lives up to its name. Each design places animals in absurd but endearing situations: a seal squashed into a cream puff shape, a bird dressed in cosplay, a dog wedged between two surfaces with a resigned expression.

This third collection follows two successful prior runs, introducing six new character illustrations across the A5 clear file format. Furukawashiko worked the art directly into the file's face panel so the design is visible even when the pockets are full. The two-pocket layout lets you keep different categories of paper separate without needing multiple files.

A two-pocket A5 clear file from Furukawashiko's third "Okashi na Doubutsu Kobo" collection, each pocket featuring a different animal illustration. The A5 format fits inside most bags alongside a notebook, keeping receipts, tickets, and loose papers sorted without adding bulk.
