Behind the Design

Most tape rolls use a cardboard core, which sheds fine paper particles into the air each time the roll spins. In environments where airborne dust is a concern, such as clean workspaces, studios, or anywhere sensitive materials are handled, that small release of particles adds up.

The CTPC-18 swaps the cardboard core for a plastic one, cutting off that source of particle dispersal at the root. The tape formula itself is also designed to minimize static charge buildup, which means the roll won't act as a dust magnet sitting on your desk. The result is a tape that behaves like ordinary Cellotape in use but introduces far less contamination to the surrounding area.

A standard clear tape roll, but with a plastic core instead of the usual cardboard. The plastic core keeps paper dust from scattering into the air when the tape is used, and the tape itself generates almost no static electricity, so it won't attract dust or debris to your work surface.
