About Postcard

Since this was a summer postcard, I wanted to create a bright, summery illustration featuring my family dog Bruno, who’s often included in my other drawings.“Bruno’s Summer Road Trip” imagines Bruno enjoying the beach and hiking, as well as traditional Japanese summer activities like kingyo-sukui (goldfish scooping), matsuris (summer festivals), kakigoori (shaved ice) watermelons and fireworks. This illustration was made with Procreate.
