Nichiban's Seihon Tape (製本テープ) has been a fixture in Japanese offices since 1983, designed to give specification sheets and multi-page documents a clean, bound spine without stitching or glue. The recycled paper cloth substrate uses 50% recycled pulp content, a material choice that predates widespread sustainability marketing by decades. The practical detail that sets it apart is the pre-cut release liner: strips peel away in sections, letting you register the tape along a spine before committing the full length.
