Most diaries are discarded once the year ends. The Book Style Diary is designed around the opposite idea: a finished diary worth keeping. The cloth cover, foil-stamped animal motif, and thread-sewn binding give it the feel of a small hardcover book rather than a disposable planner.

Two illustrators contributed original artwork to the interior. Natsumi Teraoka drew the dog pattern and Sayo Koizumi the cat pattern, with their soft-touch illustrations appearing on gallery pages throughout. The weekly horizontal layout includes a center guide mark for orienting the page at a glance, and the monthly block pages provide a clean overview of each month. Beyond the standard diary pages, bonus sections cover future planning, books read, sleep tracking, and habit logging, giving the diary a reference function that extends its usefulness well past December.
