Behind the Design

The Sky Encyclopedia series launched in July 2024 and sold well enough to earn a second volume released in July 2025. Each tape in the series focuses on a sky-based theme, rendered on washi and finished with two layers of foil stamping. The double-foil technique means two separate metallic colors are applied, letting the design shift depending on how light hits the surface.

Vol.2 continues with nighttime sky scenes, with the Meteor Shower design featuring streaks and star fields on a dark ground. The 20mm width is wide enough to show the pattern clearly while still fitting standard planner and journal layouts.
