MIDORI's die-cut bird calendar is built around a simple idea: a calendar that you'd want to keep on the wall even if the dates weren't there. The circular silhouette, soft and plate-like, gives it a quality closer to decorative art than office stationery.

Each month pairs a specific bird with a plant in season, so the illustration functions almost like a nature almanac. The 2027 edition introduces five new additions: the Monk Parakeet, whose dark facial markings recall a daruma doll; the vivid double-petaled Hemerocallis; the white-petaled Plumeria; the comb-shaped Celosia; and the Diamond Dove with its spotted wings.
