Saori Iwasaki is a designer from Iwate Prefecture, Japan, who works as an in-house designer at a Tokyo-based manufacturer while raising four cats and a child. This postcard series came out of a collaboration between Iwasaki and TOUCH & FLOW, with each card printed slowly and individually on a vintage letterpress machine.

The five designs each have their own paper and ink pairing selected to suit the mood of the botanical subject. Rose uses gold ink on dark gray paper for a quieter, more composed feel. Baby's Breath is printed on soft purple paper. Narrow-leaf Mimosa combines yellow ink with light gray paper and subtle embossing, with the phrase "Thinking of you." Dahlberg Daisy pairs small yellow flowers with vivid yellow paper as a birthday card. Poppy uses bold red ink on a beige-toned base. The front and back of each card share the same color, so the card reads as a complete object rather than just a printed surface.
