TOUCH & FLOW's Art Touch project was built around a simple idea: bringing original art into everyday life through the postcard format. Rather than reproducing existing paintings, the project commissions illustrators to create works specifically for it, so each card begins as an original.

For this collaboration, Rie Koizumi, a Tokyo-based illustrator and graphic designer working across books, magazines, and advertising, contributed four scenes. Her practice centers on imagining a moment in someone's life, somewhere in the world, and setting it down on paper. She works with watercolor and acrylic applied through ink-painting brushes, a technique that produces soft gradients and gentle textures with a faint warmth reminiscent of crayon. The four designs, a flower arrangement, a sandwich, a cup of tea, and a window-side view, each hold that quality of a quiet, unguarded moment caught mid-breath.
