Behind the Design

The Art Touch series is TOUCH & FLOW's platform for collaborating with independent designers and illustrators, giving their work a physical, mailable form. For this series, they partnered with mint, a Tama Art University graduate who splits time between in-house design work at a Tokyo company and her own creative practice.

Each of the five designs, Bicycle, Birthday, Cat, Flower Shop, and Window, is rooted in everyday moments rendered with a warm, airy quality. The palette and linework are mint's own, and the result is postcards that feel personal rather than generic. All five share the same standard postcard dimensions, so they drop straight into a regular envelope or go directly in the post.

A collaboration between TOUCH & FLOW and designer-illustrator mint, these postcards capture the feeling of sunlight and a gentle breeze through five distinct floral scenes. mint graduated from Tama Art University and works as an in-house designer in Tokyo, bringing a considered illustrative touch to each design.
