Behind the Design

Lioncider is an illustrator from Tochigi Prefecture who first encountered art when entering high school, then went on to study at an art university, receiving formal guidance through its illustration research lab. Their daily practice, one illustration per day on a different theme painted with acrylic paints and shared on social media, forms the foundation of a body of work that is both disciplined and deeply personal.

The Art Touch project is TOUCH & FLOW's ongoing initiative to bring original illustration work into everyday stationery formats. This collaboration with Lioncider translates their signature blue-dominant palette into a set of postcard-sized pieces: a bear, a cat, and a flower field, each rendered in the same cool, immersive tone. The result is a postcard you might hesitate to send.
